Smart Surgical Solutions (S3) is a MedTech spinout company from Imperial College London and they are developing the next generation of surgical navigation tools. S3’s revolutionary surgical navigation system has a unique approach by using a smartphone to position an implant intra-operatively for total knee replacement. It is designed to help a surgeon to position an implant precisely, to save the time needed and reduce the overall cost of the surgery, an option currently unavailable on the market, hence fulfilling a gap of high unmet clinical needs. We are a small, ambitious team based in the vibrant White City area of London, and are backed by Innovate UK grants and private investments.
We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced web developer to join our fast-growing team. The development will be front-end to back-end, so skills with HTML and MySQL-based databases are needed. Experience with Amazon Web Services and understanding of the software life cycle is essential, and experience with ISO 13485, and IEC 62304 is an advantage.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is self-starting, highly organized and motivated and who is dedicated to producing high-quality work. You will work closely with a research team at Imperial College and a development team at Smart Surgical Solutions. This fantastic opportunity will allow you to work closely with scientific research, orthopaedic surgeons, the product manager and the quality management team.
